Job Summary
Lead all shift operations to achieve safety, quality, productivity, waste, and downtime performance objectives while coordinating daily corrugator production activities. Monitor equipment performance, supervise and coach shift employees, and enforce safety policies and quality standards. Implement corrective actions based on production metrics, ensure accurate reporting, and maintain readiness for audits. Manage shift handoffs and communicate operational issues to plant leadership. Support continuous improvement initiatives including lean manufacturing and waste reduction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, or related field preferred
- 6+ years of corrugated manufacturing experience
- 2–4 years of leadership experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of corrugator operations and high-speed manufacturing equipment
- Experience leading safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting, decision-making, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced 24/7 manufacturing environment
- Must have attention to detail and focused concentration
- Must be able to learn new tasks and complete tasks independently
- Must be able to make timely decisions in the context of the workflow
- Must possess strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and responsiveness
- Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and use hands
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception
