Job Summary
Spearhead the sourcing and quoting of corrugated packaging products for the sales team, ensuring competitive pricing and high-quality materials. Prepare and manage price quotations, bids, and customer-specific pricing while analyzing data to identify potential suppliers, new sources, and cost-saving opportunities. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met, and foster strong relationships with vendors and the sales team to diversify sourcing options. Oversee the management of the quote system and customer pricing databases, coordinate the customer sample and trial product process, and deliver monthly reporting on sourcing activities and vendor performance. Conduct vendor visits as needed to strengthen relationships and assess supplier capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the packaging industry
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis to identify trends and sourcing opportunities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with experience working closely with sales and customer service teams
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, and experience with ERP or quoting systems
- Willingness to travel to vendor locations as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
