Job Summary
Upload CAD/vector box designs into machine software, evaluating corrugated material and board sheet size to maximize layout and cutting time. Select and install proper oscillating knives, creasing wheels, or drawing pens based on board thickness, while utilizing CCD cameras for precise registration. Perform troubleshooting, blade replacement, table mapping, and preventive maintenance/cleaning. Maintain inventory control of corrugated board sheets against order volume and requirements, then inspect finished samples for clean cuts, accurate folding lines, and correct structural dimensions. Upon assembly or stacking of flat samples for client site machine assembly, package samples as needed for courier or shipment. Alert Sales team members of ready packages and ensure appropriate labeling is attached for objective evidence of approval.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with Kongsberg cutting table or similar equipment
- Proven software proficiency in ability to read technical packaging drawings and operate control software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently but also in a team setting
- Communicate effectively with various teams
- Proficiency in tracking open projects and executing list of requirements per day
- Candidates who are 18 years or older
