Job Summary
Corrosion Engineer leading cross-disciplinary projects, providing advanced corrosion control expertise, mentoring junior staff, interfacing with clients, and supporting proposal development from planning through completion. Responsibilities include leading Cathodic Protection (CP) annual surveys, troubleshooting rectifier systems and CP issues, directing pipeline locating and integrity verification, performing Close Interval Surveys (CIS) and DCVG surveys, overseeing bellhole inspections and coating evaluations, designing/installing CP systems, conducting soil resistivity surveys and Pipeline Current Mapping (PCM), leading AC mitigation surveys and installation of mitigation systems, reviewing field data, preparing technical reports, and mentoring engineers and technicians. Candidates should have a BS in Engineering, NACE/AMPP CP2+ certification preferred, 5+ years of corrosion engineering and field experience, strong project leadership and client-relations skills, and the ability to work independently within a collaborative team. All Pond & Company roles require in-person interviews and onboarding at a Pond office.
