CorrHealth Travel Nurse / LPN

Job Summary
Travel LPN across CorrHealth facilities in CO, NM, TX, and WY providing inmate healthcare. Duties include assisting in assessment and planning of care under RN supervision, administering medications (including IV therapy when certified), assisting with medical procedures and charting (SOAP), performing EKGs, triaging healthcare requests, maintaining controlled substances and equipment, implementing nutrition plans, and ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Requires a graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program, current compact license, and current CPR/BLS; weekly travel with full-time schedule (36-48 hrs weekly) and residency in one of CO, NM, TX, or WY; flexibility for day/night shifts and adherence to facility policies.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited LPN/LVN program
- Current and unrestricted compact license as LPN/LVN
- Must maintain license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Current TB test (taken within one year)
- Willing to travel weekly
- Must be willing to follow facility policies and procedures
- Willing to assist coworkers and work overtime if required
- HIPAA compliance
Additional Requirements
- Must reside in CO, NM, TX or WY for tax purposes
