Job Summary
Execute a comprehensive onboarding framework for correspondent banking relationships by enhancing global procedures, running diligence for new countries, and mapping geo-specific risks. Design rules to detect and monitor risks, perform deep due diligence on partner banks, and lead periodic reviews. Partner with Go-to-Market teams to evaluate target customers, educate prospects on compliance requirements, and provide guardrails for product rollouts. Support ongoing monitoring expectations including trigger events and escalation criteria while coordinating efforts across multiple teams. Requires 6-8+ years of regulatory experience, ability to build operational policies, and frequent international travel.
Required Qualifications
- 6-8+ years of regulatory, compliance or risk management experience with a focus on international financial activity
- Ability to build and operational policies, procedures, and workflows
- Strong familiarity with underwriting geographic and political risks
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to create detailed, clear documentation for a diverse range of stakeholders
- Ability to jump into new situations and quickly solve problems, with an eye towards architecting solutions that will scale
- Hyper-organized approach to project management, including coordinating efforts across multiple teams
- Comfort juggling multiple projects and priorities
- Scrappy, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
- Ability to travel frequently
- In-person presence in the Bank's Presidio-based office is strongly preferred
- If you are not located in San Francisco we expect a monthly trip in the first six months and five times a year going forward
- Heavy international travel to client and prospective banks
