Corrective Maintenance Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate assigned Technical Support Network (TSN) subcontractors during each work period to ensure maintenance activities meet required quality, safety, and environmental standards. Review maintenance instructions for completeness, oversee service provider work, and manage special tools, test equipment, and material expended or returned. Compile Work Item closure reports, verify accuracy, and update the Defense Resource Management Information System (DRMS) with corrective and preventative maintenance records. Assist Ship Maintenance Leads in generating reports, managing documentation, and tracking resolution for operation deficiencies while ensuring subcontractor records remain current. Attend meetings to prepare agendas and minutes, and support onsite management of the Worker Access Management System.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2-year technical program diploma offered by a recognized technical institute
- University Degree
- Certified as a technician by a recognized provincial licensing body in a relevant field marine field
- Certified as Navy QL 6 and above for technical trades of the RCN
- Minimum two years of previous experience working within the Military or a Industrial Contract or Project
- Experience within procurement, project management or operations
- Project experience interfacing between internal/external stakeholders
- Access to government facilities and assets, including naval vessels
- Eligibility to the Canadian Controlled Goods Program
- Ability to obtain a Canadian NATO Secret clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with the Defense Resource Management Information System (DRMIS), or comparable document management system
- Experience working in SAP, or comparable Enterprise Resource Planning or Asset Management software
- Previous experience in ship-refit and repair activities
- Occasional domestic or international travel
