Job Summary
Corrective Action Coordinator in the Oregon Department of Human Services focused on reviewing and analyzing abuse, licensing, and complaint investigation reports to determine appropriate corrective actions (e.g., civil penalties, license conditions, revocations). Responsible for researching facility history to identify patterns of non-compliance, and coordinating/referring for compliance activities with LTCO, Board of Nursing, Medicaid Fraud, and other boards. Requires strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills; candidate must be able to travel occasionally and undergo background checks and I-9/E-Verify processing. The role is full-time and represented by SEIU; application materials must include a detailed work and education history and a cover letter.
Required Qualifications
- Five years experience doing administrative research that included compiling and evaluating facts to recommend management action or decide compliance or eligibility with program guidelines and regulations.
- Three of the five years must be above the technical support level.
- College-level course work may substitute for experience on the basis of 45-quarter units per year, up to a maximum of three years.
