Job Summary
Deliver direct patient care, administer medications, and conduct nursing assessments for chronic care patients at the Troup County Jail. Assist with emergency response and triage situations while maintaining accurate documentation and collaborating closely with RNs, providers, and correctional staff to ensure a safe environment. Work full-time nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with a rotating schedule including every other weekend. This role offers the opportunity to sharpen clinical judgment within a unique healthcare setting where autonomy and teamwork go hand in hand.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse LPN
- Medical experience
- Emergency experience
- Behavioral health experience
- Ability to stay steady under pressure
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
- Ability to work rotating schedule including every other weekend
