Job Summary
Monitor vendor compliance, conduct audits of performance indicators and mortality reviews, and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal guidelines for infection prevention, radiology, dentistry, and mental health. Facilitate National Commission on Correctional Health Care evaluation services and accreditation surveys while maintaining current certification. Identify trends in detainees' health statistics, hospital send-outs, and admissions; introduce amendments to electronic health records and compile bespoke reports. Liaise between the Sheriff's department, health department, and accrediting bodies; assist with vendor clearance requests, escorts, and RFP document compilation. Oversee vendor transitions and manage medical equipment procurement and replacement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in a medical or behavioral health related field
- Two years of professional level experience in coordinating, monitoring, administrating or managing program or specialized work activities
- Two years of experience with Pima County in a professional administrative classification
- Valid driver license
- Valid AZ driver license
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with case management and/or care coordination
- Experience with/knowledge of community resource networks
- Experience with/knowledge of working with justice-involved populations, behavioral health clients, substance use disorder populations, or other underserved populations
- Experience building and maintaining collaborative relationships between the department and external entities, such as community agencies, probation, health plans, and other relevant organizations
