Job Summary
Monitor and manage cash and asset balances for trust accounts, including valuations of assets and collateral, while ensuring proper funding in compliance with governing trust documents. Interpret bond financing documents and internal controls to determine cash and asset movement timing. Prepare trust accounting system entries, calculate and execute debt retirements, and perform other account transaction duties. Interact with specialized units to provide quality measurements to account managers and verify legal document requirements. May include direct client interaction. Requires working from a U.S. Bank location three or more days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or technical education
- Equivalent work experience
- Working knowledge of investments
- Working knowledge of accounting transactions
- Working knowledge of client service
- Ability to interpret bond financing documents
- Ability to decipher all aspects of cash and asset transactions relating to the account
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations which can include percentages, ratios, and bond interest as applicable
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week
