Job Summary
Manage and support complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, and tax matters. Draft legal documents, negotiate terms, and collaborate with attorneys across real estate, finance, and litigation practice areas. Take ownership of matters while working directly with clients to develop strong relationships. Requires five or more years of corporate/transactional experience and strong drafting and negotiation skills. Located in downtown Kansas City. Required Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in corporate, transactional, or business law
- Experience managing and supporting complex business transactions
- Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and clients

- Experience with mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, commercial contracts, business succession planning, real estate transactions, and/or tax matters
