Job Summary
The Senior Manager in Corporate Tax Strategy will optimize the UK's consolidated tax position, provide technical advice on complex tax matters, manage tax forecasting, and support the business across all stages of the transaction lifecycle. This role requires a strong understanding of both UK and international tax issues alongside the ability to coach more junior team members. Ideal candidates will possess relevant qualifications, experience in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to deliver high-quality tax advice to key stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Proven career development path to be the next tax leads at Liberty Global or the Federation
- Ability to work independently and drive projects forward as a self-starter
- Proactive, pragmatic business partner and problem solver
Desired Qualifications
- Chartered accountancy qualification including CIMA, ACA and/or a tax qualification (latter preferred)
- Experience working in Big 4 or top 10 as a Senior Manager or an experienced Manager, or in a similar environment
- Deep understanding of UK and global tax principles
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ambitious, flexible and highly motivated
