Job Summary
VP-level Corporate Derivatives Accounting Structuring role within JPMorgan’s Global Corporate Structuring team. Primary responsibilities include supporting origination, ongoing coverage, and execution of hedging transactions (interest rate, foreign exchange, and other hedging activities), preparing customized analyses and pitch books for client meetings, updating clients on hedging transactions and hedge accounting developments, and developing regression/analytical models to support solutions subject to hedge accounting. Requires practical knowledge of U.S. GAAP hedge accounting guidance, familiarity with IFRS, and collaboration with CDM professionals to deliver tailored solutions to corporate clients. Ideal candidates have an undergraduate accounting degree and active CPA license, with a minimum of 4 years of Big 4 experience in financial instruments or related corporate derivatives roles, and strong Excel/Office skills.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting
- Active CPA license
- At least 4 years of Big 4 accounting firm experience focused on financial instruments in a client-facing role and/or similar experience supporting corporate derivatives businesses at bulge bracket banks
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and interpretative skills
- Experience evaluating economics of and accounting for financial instruments transactions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word applications
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative work environment
- High degree of ethics and integrity
