Job Summary
Lead and develop the store team under the guidance of the District Manager to achieve operating efficiencies, revenue goals, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Responsible for sourcing, hiring, training and development of store staff; ensure compliance with operating policies, provincial/federal legislation, and HR policies; drive performance through formal performance management, recognition of strong performers, and proactive issue resolution. Manage daily operations, deposits, merchandising standards, customer engagement, and utilization of internal reports to inform SMART goals and drive profitability. Requires 3-5 years of retail management experience, strong people leadership, and the ability to lift 50lbs; post-secondary certificate in business is an asset. Location: Aurora, Ontario, Canada; in-person (on-site) role.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience as a retail manager
- 3-5 years’ experience supervising and/or leading people
- 3-5 years’ experience working in a retail environment (Food Retail experience is an asset)
- 3-5 years’ experience servicing and resolving customer concerns
- Post-secondary certificate in business or related field an asset
- Must be able to lift 50lbs or more as required by the business
- Must have both POS and cash handling experience
