Job Summary
Lead the store team to ensure compliance with customer service standards, operating policies, and applicable legislation. Drive business success by developing SMART goals, monitoring retail results, and implementing action plans for sales growth and profitability. Manage labour and vacation scheduling to budgeted models while sourcing, hiring, and training store associates. Resolve issues proactively with staff and report unresolved matters to the District Manager. Ensure daily deposit preparation and maintain visual merchandising standards throughout the day.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years' experience as a retail manager
- 3-5 years' experience supervising and/or leading people
- 3-5 years' experience working in a retail environment
- 3-5 years' experience servicing and resolving customer concerns
- Understanding of business management fundamentals
- Must be able to lift 50lbs ore more as required by the business
- Must have both POS and cash handling experience
Desired Qualifications
- Food Retail experience is an asset
- Post-secondary certificate in business or related field an asset
