Job Summary
Upload statistics and trial balances to the TM1 reporting system for all affiliated hospitals and maintain the system. Prepare monthly operation report packages, quarterly financials for health plans, and monthly self-insurance and workers compensation entries. Summarize monthly AP aging for loan covenants, prepare DSCR and liquidity tests, and coordinate with hospitals for bank auditor documents twice yearly. Manage monthly patient account collection goals, submit bi-weekly federal payroll taxes, assist with annual 1099 submissions, handle online banking transfers, and prepare census surveys. Record and maintain books for two affiliated hospitals on QuickBooks while supervising and training the Corporate Final Analyst.
Required Qualifications
- seven years of accounting/finance experience
- knowledge of government regulations related to functional area
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance/accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Gmail
- critical thinking skills
- strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external resources
- Must be able to work independently
