Job Summary
Lead end-to-end estimating and bid delivery for complex infrastructure and utility projects. Develop conceptual, budgetary, and full-scope estimates for Bid-Build, Design-Build, CM/GC, and Alternative Delivery projects. Establish estimating strategies, production rates, schedules, and resource plans; perform detailed cost estimation including labor, equipment, materials, subcontractor pricing, overhead, and indirect costs. Mentor junior estimators; drive continuous improvement of estimating systems and processes; collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Business Development; manage subcontractor databases and prequalification; participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits; present pricing recommendations to executive leadership. Requires Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and 10+ years of experience; proficiency with Office, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, On-Screen Takeoff, estimating software, and ERP systems; LEED accreditation preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in estimating/preconstruction/operations
- Experience with public and private sector bidding and underground utilities
- Proficiency with estimation software and tools listed
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Desired Qualifications

- 10+ years of progressive estimating/preconstruction/operations experience in construction/utilities/infrastructure/pipeline services
- Experience with public and private sector bidding (underground utilities, pipeline rehabilitation, trenchless technologies)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, On-Screen Takeoff, ERP systems (Vista preferred)
- Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, negotiation, and communication skills
- LEED accreditation or sustainability certification preferred
