Job Summary
Security Officer responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming resort environment; serve as a visible, professional presence dedicated to guest safety and positive interactions; act as first responder to medical, fire, or law enforcement emergencies; maintain high-visibility security throughout the property; monitor and control access points; operate and monitor security systems including surveillance cameras and fire alarm panels; conduct routine safety and security inspections; respond to guest and team member safety concerns; prepare incident reports and maintain logs; assist guests with safety-related requests including lost and found; perform traffic control, parking enforcement, and crowd management as needed; support public safety officials during incidents; manage key control; duties may be updated by Security Leadership; requires ability to communicate effectively, stay calm under pressure, and uphold integrity with a hospitality-focused mindset.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Unarmed Security Officer License (state-specific) preferred
- First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications preferred but not required
