Corporate Sales Engineer, SLED (Remote)

Job Summary
Present Falcon endpoint portfolio expertise to prospective clients and existing SLED accounts, conducting demonstrations, proof of value, and technical business reviews to drive adoption, expansion, and renewal. Extend conversations beyond endpoints to include Falcon Next-Gen SIEM, cloud security across AWS/Azure/GCP, identity threat detection, and AI security posture management. Position managed services such as MDR, threat hunting, and incident response retainers while articulating strategies to secure AI adoption and defend against AI-driven adversaries. Lead competitive displacement efforts against legacy AV and incumbent platforms, communicating fundamental security challenges to stakeholders ranging from hands-on analysts to state CIOs. Partner with Account Executives on account planning and renewals, work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering, and mentor peers and channel partners. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems while writing and modifying basic scripts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in technical studies or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of relevant experience in IT, security, system engineering/administration, sales engineering, or technical account management
- Customer-facing experience
- Comfort leading presentations
- Track record of managing long-term technical relationships
- Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes
- Proficient understanding of Active Directory and modern identity providers such as Entra ID and Okta
- Familiarity with AI/LLM concepts and their associated risks – prompt injection, model and training data exposure, agentic identity and access, and emerging AI governance frameworks
- Knowledge of malware, threat intelligence, and/or sandbox analysis
- Ability to write and modify basic scripts
- Experience with virtualization/VDI technologies
- Experience with large-scale cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
- Ability to travel minimally as required (potentially 2-3 trips a year to the annual GTM Offsite, Fal.Con, and customer visits)
- 100% remote work for candidates located within the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred languages are PowerShell, Python, and Bash
- Familiarity with public sector compliance frameworks (StateRAMP, CJIS, FERPA, NIST CSF/800-171)
- Understanding of SLED buying motions such as cooperative purchasing vehicles and cybersecurity grant funding
- Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, OSCP, and SANS
- Participation in security events such as capture the flag
