Job Summary
Corporate Sales Account Executive drives B2B revenue for Detroit-based venues by selling premium leases, rentals, club seats, group and season tickets through proactive prospecting, meetings, calls, and presentations. Responsibilities include meeting or exceeding sales goals, researching and establishing leads, preparing proposals, delivering presentations, maintaining CRM with current client information, processing ticket orders, and providing top-tier customer service to generate new business and repeat revenue. The role requires maintaining a robust pipeline with weekly updates to leadership, conducting 50-60 outbound calls per day and at least 5 face-to-face appointments per week, and participating in game-day activities and client entertainment to cultivate relationships. Candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 1-3 years of sales experience in sports/entertainment or related fields, and demonstrated ability to build and negotiate B2B relationships with integrity and high work ethic. Ability to handle irregular hours and travel as needed is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in sports management, marketing communications or related field
- 1-3 years sales experience in sports/entertainment related, media or sales field
- Proven track record of cultivating B2B relationships and sales
- Ability to identify opportunities, develop account strategies, and negotiate solutions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to work long or unpredictable hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
