Job Summary
Lead the end-to-end transition of financial statements from US GAAP to IFRS, bridging legacy frameworks with new technical policies and internal controls. Partner with Finance sub-teams, external consultants, and auditors to manage project plans, risks, and governance frameworks while delivering IFRS education sessions. Develop training materials, execute testing strategies for system changes, and draft compliant accounting manuals and disclosure papers. Perform impact assessments on accounting policies and processes, lead complex group consolidations, and provide actionable insights to senior finance leadership. Facilitate post-implementation stabilization and establish sustainable ongoing reporting processes. This 12-month contract includes hybrid work and a budgeted range of $97,301 to $133,789.
Required Qualifications
- University Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- CPA/CA designation
- JDE or other large ERP experience
- Minimum 5-7 years' experience in Big 4 audit firm and progressive Finance roles
- At least 3 of which is in accounting / corporate reporting
- Experience managing projects and leading accounting transformations
- Proficient in IFRS including research, analysis and interpretation
- Advanced knowledge of complex accounting areas
- Experience in US GAAP including research, analysis and interpretation
