Corporate Real Estate, Project Lead (12 months contract)

Job Summary
Manage and coordinate all real estate projects outside Oakville headquarters, serving as the primary point contact for Office Experience oversight. Lead global initiatives including office openings, closings, and moves while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution on time and within budget. Review lease agreements, track global agreements, and oversee vendor compliance, procurement, and RFPs. Conduct site visits, manage change orders, and coordinate operational readiness for IT, security, and furniture installation. Anticipate risks, develop contingency plans, and work with leadership to implement standardized processes for efficiency and consistency.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in a related field
- Experience managing office or construction projects from approval through delivery
- Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different geographies
- Demonstrated financial management skills, including budget development, expense oversight, and cost control
- Strong risk management skills with the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project and operational risks
- Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines across multiple concurrent initiatives
- Strong communicator, comfortable presenting to and partnering with senior leadership
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels and cultures
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach — you identify what needs to be done and take ownership without being directed
- Ability to handle sensitive topics with discretion, empathy, and cultural awareness
- Comfort working with global and remote teams across multiple time zones
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and project management tools
Desired Qualifications
- PMP, FMP , or autocad equivalent certification is an asset
