Job Summary
Corporate Quality Systems Lead-Field oversees quality across field operations, leading audits, ensuring compliance with PCI/ACI/IAS standards, developing and enforcing quality procedures, coordinating field inspections and training, and driving continuous improvement through process analysis and collaboration with engineering and operations teams. The role emphasizes auditing, documenting quality records, reviewing KPIs, and supporting corrective actions and training initiatives to uphold quality across production and installation. Strong emphasis on quality systems, compliance, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration; experience with welding inspections and field operations preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction, manufacturing, or field operations
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
- Familiarity with industry standards and codes such as PCI Manuals, MNL-116, MNL-117, and MNL-120
- Knowledge of building codes and job specifications (e.g., California Building Code, International Building Code)
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent preferred
- Quality certifications (ISO 9000, ASQ) preferred
- Fall Protection Training and Boom/Scissor Lift Certification required
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, audits, and compliance processes
- Ability to interpret plans, specifications, and blueprints
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data analysis and statistical methods
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, and field teams
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects
- Comfortable escalating issues while maintaining positive working relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence
