Corporate & Project Finance Modelling (Remote Working)

Job Summary
Build financial models in Excel to support financing processes, conduct scenario analysis based on operational and macroeconomic factors, and evaluate companies using DCF and comparable company methods. Set up funding structures, complete project finance analyses, and test models to meet investor requirements. Identify key financial risks and advise mitigants while identifying levers to optimize business performance. Perform primary and secondary research and quantitative data collection. This role supports a rapidly expanding financial advisory firm handling global mining, oil & gas, and infrastructure projects with market caps ranging from A$100m to A$70bn. Candidates must possess a degree in Finance or related fields with at least five years of experience in financial modelling or corporate finance.
Required Qualifications
- at least a Degree or professional qualification in Finance, Science, Engineering or other suitable qualification from a well regarded university (overseas)
- at least 5 years' experience in Financial Modelling, Advisory or Corporate Finance
- Strong communication skills in both oral and written English
- Possess good problem solving, strategic, analytical, interpersonal and people management skills
- Experience with project feasibility studies, financing structures and project finance
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent academic credentials and professional Accounting/Finance qualification is highly preferable
- Client management experience/skills
