Job Summary
Coordinate with U.S. and Japan teams to collect, aggregate, and analyze data for budgeting, mid-term business planning, and profitability frameworks. Lead cross-functional initiatives including sales management enhancements, production logistics optimization, and project management for new product development. Execute ad-hoc data analysis requests from executive management, visualize sales variances, and draft structured reports. Document recurring workflows and create process manuals to ensure operational continuity. Requires 2–5 years of experience in corporate planning or finance, advanced Excel skills, and business-level Japanese. Full-time role with salary commensurate with experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics or related field
- 2 to 5 years of professional experience leading data analysis or report preparation in Corporate Planning, Finance/Accounting, Sales Planning, Business Analysis, or Management Consulting
- Advanced Excel skills (proficiency in formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation, and cross-referencing large datasets)
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with speed and agility in a fast-paced, ad-hoc environment where priorities can shift rapidly
- Japanese: Business level or higher is mandatory (Native or equivalent)
- English: Business level
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) or experience in data validation
- Professional background or foundational knowledge in the manufacturing sector, supply chain, or logistics operations
- Experience in project tracking (PMO) or creating structured business process documentation and manuals
- Foundational knowledge of data extraction and system utilization using ERP platforms (such as IFS)
