Corporate Planning Analyst (Bi-lingual Japanese/English)

Job Summary
Develop and consolidate mid-term business and profit plans for the automotive industry, analyzing financial data to support strategic decisions. Lead internal activities to achieve profit targets by coordinating cross-functional meetings, facilitating Hoshin planning reviews, and tracking cost control initiatives. Prepare executive-level reports and presentations that summarize progress against strategic targets, including KPIs, revenue, expenses, and manufacturing costs. Monitor performance gaps, recommend corrective actions, and establish systems to evaluate business performance across departments. Assist in defining strategic goals, conducting market research, and implementing cost-saving measures to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in corporate planning, financial analysis, or project coordination in a business environment
- Fluent in English and Japanese (written and spoken)
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with KPI tracking, policy deployment, and cross-functional coordination
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- At least three days of onsite work each week
- Primarily local travel
- Occasional travel (10–30%) to other sites including Los Angeles (CA), Texas, and Mexico
