Job Summary
Process payroll by compiling data on hours, taxes, insurance, and union dues, then prepare and issue paychecks. Audit system entries for new hires, status changes, and terminations with the HR Data Entry team. Respond to and resolve payroll inquiries regarding wage assignments, garnishments, child support orders, and employment verifications. Analyze reports including Certified Payroll, Job Cost Association, Gross Payroll Registers, and Vacation Reports to ensure accurate tracking and accruals. Support reconciliation of outstanding payroll checks with the corporate Accounting team. Requires 3+ years of in-house payroll experience, UKG or Dayforce knowledge, and proficiency in the Microsoft Suite.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma / GED
- 3+ years' experience with in-house payroll processing
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
- UKG and/or Dayforce experience
- Union, Construction, Prevailing Wage payroll knowledge
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite of products
