Job Summary
Lead the corporate partnerships and development program for the NC League of Municipalities and its Local Leadership Foundation. Oversee corporate sponsorship programming, fundraising campaigns and activities to meet development goals; administer the Preferred Partners program; cultivate donor relationships and secure financial commitments for sponsor programs and LLF; coordinate grant applications and grant writing; collaborate with Finance, Marketing, and other divisions; develop marketing materials and communication plans; maintain donor records and use prospect research tools to build relationships; support contracts and agreements with partners; contribute to fundraising strategy and trend research; position the organization positively through professional donor-focused engagement; hybrid in-office and remote work in Raleigh, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Fundraising/Development, Business, Communication or related field is required.
- Three years to five years of experience is preferred.
