Job Summary
Corporate Paralegal to support the Legal Department with fund compliance for the Company’s RIA, governance and corporate documentation, KYC/due diligence coordination, and legal operations tasks. Responsibilities include administering the fund compliance platform and SEC filings, coordinating valuation meetings and reporting, maintaining governance records, preparing organizational documents and consents, handling corporate secretary certificates and minute books, coordinating document signatures and corporate filings, and supporting special projects within the fund platform and Corporate Secretary function. Requires 3-5 years of paralegal/legal operations experience; associate's or bachelor's degree in legal studies/business (paralegal certification preferred); background check and drug screening required; compensation in New York: $82,000-$104,000 plus bonus. Responsibilities emphasize governance, regulatory compliance for RIAs, board materials, and collaboration with attorneys and other legal department members.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, compliance professional, or related legal operations role
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Business, or related field; Paralegal Certification preferred
- Background check, drug screening, and verification of employment/education credentials required
- Experience with corporate governance, entity management, private funds (including SEC rules and regulations applicable to RIAs), financial services, or compliance matters preferred
