Job Summary
Coordinate the drafting, reviewing, editing, processing, executing, and maintaining of contracts in accordance with Springfield Clinic policies. Oversee a team of contract coordinators to ensure contracts are properly drafted, negotiated, executed, and maintained. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess business proposals, determine appropriate legal templates, and obtain required legal reviews. Act as a point of contact for contract inquiries, facilitate communication, and support dispute resolution by providing necessary documentation. Organize, review, and analyze due diligence documents while maintaining organized contract records and databases. Monitor timelines and deliverables to ensure compliance, provide periodic status reports, and prepare materials for administrative, committee, and board meetings. Conduct legal research and follow Clinic policies and safety practices.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred
- 5+ years in-house or law firm experience preferred
- Proven experience in contract management
- Prior leadership experience preferred
- Strong ethical and professional conduct in handling confidential and sensitive information
- Proficiency in using contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced, physician-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
