Job Summary
Manage the company's trademark and patent portfolio, including prosecution tracking and renewal deadlines. Oversee entity management compliance, annual filings, and corporate governance activities such as resolution preparation. Prepare business licenses, maintain contract workflows via CLM and DocuSign, and lead implementation optimization projects. Support corporate transactions with due diligence and document management, handle subpoena intake, and administer litigation holds. Process vendor invoices, maintain organized legal records, generate software reports, and manage lease administration. Provide general administrative support to attorneys and contract managers as needed. This role requires a self-directed professional with at least four years of in-house legal experience, proficiency with legal technology platforms, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Base salary ranges from $86,500 to $96,300.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a paralegal or legal operations professional in an in-house legal department
- Self-directed professional who takes initiative, works independently, and drives projects to completion with minimal supervision
- Proven ability to lead work streams and manage projects from concept through execution
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to contribute across all levels of work, from strategic project leadership to routine administrative tasks
- A valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program
- Experience managing diverse responsibilities
- Experience managing an intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks and patents
- Entity management and corporate governance experience
- License and registration management experience
- Litigation management and support experience
- CLM platform experience, with interest in or experience leading system implementation projects
- Proficiency with legal technology platforms; experience with Conga, CSC, DocuSign, and/or Salesforce
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools and enthusiasm for adopting technology to improve efficiency
- Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related field
