Job Summary
Direct the entire operations accounting function by owning the complete revenue and margin recognition cycle, enterprise-level over/under billing strategy, and full-cycle cash flow forecasting. Synthesize KPIs to identify enterprise trends, assess organizational risk, and communicate net income and overhead forecasts to senior leadership. Review project revenue and cost projections with Operations Managers and lead succession planning, hiring, and onboarding for a team of 2–4 Assistant Controllers. Establish internal control frameworks, drive automation, and integrate new financial technologies. Requires expert-level GAAP knowledge, specifically ASC 606 for long-term construction projects, and proficiency in Oracle Enterprise Business Suite. Minimum of 15 years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in construction, with up to 20% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Expert-level GAAP knowledge, specifically ASC 606 for long-term construction projects
- Sophisticated understanding of EPC, Electrical Subcontracting, and Manufacturing business units
- Proficiency in Oracle Enterprise Business Suite or similar ERP packages
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum of 15 years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in construction
- TRAVEL: Up to 20%

- CPA or CCIFP certification strongly preferred
