Job Summary
Answer incoming calls, address basic HR policy questions, and direct callers to appropriate team members. Open, sort, scan, and route incoming mail while preparing outgoing correspondence. Compile, audit, and file confidential employee records, including annual file audits. Enter updates into HRIS systems, process ID badges, and reconcile invoices. Assist with organizing recognition programs, open enrollment, and training events. Provide overall administrative support to the HR Department, store management, and associates.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with and adherence to Stine Policies and Procedures
- Ability to answer incoming calls, address basic HR policy and procedure questions, direct calls to the appropriate team member and take messages
- Ability to page over the PA system when necessary
- Ability to open, sort, scan and/or route incoming mail, answer correspondence and prepare outgoing mail
- Ability to order and pickup supplies, decorate and/or coordinate events for department, location and company
- Ability to travel within 30 miles or less
- Ability to compile, copy, sort, scan, import, export, and file confidential records
- Ability to audit employee files upon hire and annually and as-needed
- Ability to type, format, proofread, and edit letters, memos, and other documents from notes, meetings, or calls; print and/or mail at associate or management request
- Ability to review files and records to respond to requests, including employment verifications, or forward requests to a third party as needed
- Ability to compute, record, and proofread information such as records or reports; compile and prepare data as needed for HR or other departments
- Ability to prepare, reconcile, and code invoices
- Ability to assist with entering changes and researching information within HRIS or benefits systems
- Ability to process company identification badges
- Ability to provide overall administrative support to the HR Department, store management and associates
- Ability to assist with organizing, communicating, and administering employee recognition programs and awards
- Ability to assist with organizing and setup of HR events, open enrollment preparations, job fairs, employee recognition parties, employee communications, meetings and other unscheduled events
- Ability to assist with training, including setting up, constructing, or reprinting training materials
- Ability to make or assist with travel arrangements when necessary
