Job Summary
MDS Coordinator (RN) in a Corporate Traveler role supporting multiple facilities across the West Virginia region. Responsibilities include providing hands-on MDS assessments and care planning, ensuring PDPM and Medicare compliance, mentoring and training MDS staff, collaborating with the Regional Director of Clinical Reimbursement, and performing hybrid work with on-site and remote duties. Travel required within the region and overnight travel as needed. Requires active RN license in West Virginia and residence in Seattle area or nearby. The role emphasizes reimbursement support, regulatory adherence, and leadership across facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Must reside in the Seattle area or nearby
- Must hold an active Washington state RN license
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of West Virginia (required)
- Strong working knowledge of MDS, Medicare guidelines, PDPM, reimbursement compliance, and care planning
- Prior experience mentoring or training MDS nurses strongly preferred
- Ability to travel regionally as needed
- Perform work in a hybrid capacity — both remotely and on-site as needed
- Participate in required overnight travel within the assigned region
