Job Summary
Hybrid Corporate MDS Traveler role supporting multiple skilled nursing facilities in the West Virginia region with hands-on MDS assessments, care planning, and regulatory/compliance responsibilities. Responsibilities include mentoring MDS coordinators, collaborating with the Regional Director of Clinical Reimbursement, ensuring PDPM and Medicare compliance, and providing reimbursement support during staffing transitions and high census periods. Requires active RN license, regional travel, and the ability to work in a hybrid capacity (remote and on-site). The position is Charleston, WV area-focused with regional travel and the Seattle-area residency requirement noted in the candidate criteria.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia
- Must reside in Seattle area or nearby
- Ability to travel regionally
- Strong knowledge of MDS, Medicare guidelines, PDPM, and reimbursement compliance
- Care planning experience and ability to mentor/training MDS nurses (preferred)
- Flexibility to work hybrid—remote and on-site as needed
- Ability to participate in overnight travel within the assigned region
