Corporate Materials and Inventory Manager

Job Summary
The Corporate Materials and Inventory Manager will lead enterprise-wide inventory accuracy, governance, and materials control across manufacturing and distribution sites. Responsibilities include establishing and improving inventory control policies, owning cycle counting and physical inventory programs, standardizing warehouse processes, and partnering with Finance, Purchasing, IT, and Operations. You will drive ERP master data quality, reporting and analytics, and support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inventory turns and reduce obsolescence. Requires a bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in inventory/materials management within manufacturing, strong ERP experience, and ability to lead cross-functional efforts across multi-site operations. Travel is required (as needed) to manufacturing and warehouse locations. Required Qualifications
- bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Business, or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive experience in inventory management, materials management, or warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience supporting multi-site operations
- Strong ERP experience with hands-on responsibility for inventory transactions and controls
- Proven ability to design and sustain cycle count and inventory accuracy programs
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-improvement skills
- Preferred: Experience in metals, industrial manufacturing, or heavy manufacturing environments
- Lean, Six Sigma, APICS (CPIM/CSCP), or similar certifications
- Experience leading or supporting ERP implementations or major system upgrades
