Job Summary
Provide expert legal advice on project delivery modes, including design-build, P3, and Alliance frameworks, while leading the review and negotiation of consulting and construction contracts. Act in an advisory capacity to manage legal and commercial risks across the project life cycle, from bid to closeout, and resolve pre-litigation disputes through settlement strategies. Supervise external counsel and litigation budgets, offer technical guidance on Occupational Health and Safety Act matters, and advise on intellectual property protection. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives within the legal function to enhance efficiencies across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LL.B)
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario (or eligible to register)
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience practicing Law
