Job Summary
Draft, review, and revise contracts, agreements, corporate governance documents, and other legal documents to support attorneys with corporate, business, and transactional matters. Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, pleadings, briefs, and other legal filings. Assist with litigation matters, including case preparation, discovery, court filings, and due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and business restructuring. Support negotiations, dispute resolution, and legal risk assessments while communicating professionally with clients, government agencies, and opposing counsel. Manage multiple assignments to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school or an equivalent foreign law degree
- One (1) to three (3) years of legal experience preferred; relevant internships, clerkships, or comparable legal experience will also be considered
- Active California State Bar membership is preferred but not required
- Pre-bar associates and recent law graduates awaiting bar admission are encouraged to apply
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
