Manage a portfolio of complex business, commercial, and bad faith litigation, arbitration, and pre-litigation disputes involving significant financial, regulatory, or reputational risk. Develop and execute litigation strategy including early case assessment, discovery planning, motion practice, and trial preparation while selecting, retaining, and supervising outside counsel. Provide practical legal advice to internal stakeholders and senior leaders regarding exposure, settlement opportunities, and strategic alternatives, ensuring timely and clear communications on matter updates and escalation notices. Oversee discovery, document preservation, witness preparation, and mediation activities while effectively managing litigation budgets to drive cost-effective resolutions. Prepare accurate matter reporting for internal governance and external disclosure processes, and support continuous improvement through litigation management practices and mentorship of paralegal staff.
