Job Summary
Lead and manage Bondora’s Estonian corporate law matters, ensuring governance, statutory compliance, and corporate housekeeping are accurate, timely, and compliant; prepare and maintain documentation for corporate events (shareholders’ resolutions, board changes, board minutes, powers of attorney); support regulatory filings with the Estonian Commercial Register/Trade Registry; advise on Estonian corporate governance requirements; collaborate cross-functionally to build scalable governance processes in a fintech environment; work with the Legal team and stakeholders in a role based in Estonia requiring Estonian language proficiency; contribute to governance processes and regulatory submissions with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance; strong drafting, detail-oriented, and independent work style in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Law degree
- qualification to practice law in Estonia
- strong grounding in Estonian corporate law
- hands-on experience with the Estonian Commercial Register / Trade Registry and filing processes
- experience with shareholders’ meetings, board changes, and corporate documentation
- statutory filings and internal corporate approval processes
- excellent written and spoken Estonian and English
- ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving, cross-functional environment
- strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and structured way of working
