Job Summary
Register and allocate daily transactions to Processors while performing double checks and end-of-day reconciliation to ensure accurate booking. Check and produce PBOC/SAFE/NFRA reports, and provide technical guidance and training on complex transactions and workflow management. Investigate and resolve complex internal or external enquiries, handling all allocated matters with sound judgement. Assist with reviews of unit processes and recommend improvements as agreed. This Associate role supports the Corporate & Investment Banking Trade Operations team, requiring fluent English and Mandarin skills along with five years of trade finance experience at a foreign bank.
Required Qualifications
- University graduate or above
- Minimum 5 years of Trade Finance working experience at foreign bank
- Solid understanding of relevant PBOC/SAFE/NFRA regulation
- Deep knowledge of UCP Rules, international trade and OFAC regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
- Able to handle multiple tasks at the same time
