Job Summary
Associate in Trade Operations responsible for allocating daily transactions to Processors, monitoring progress, performing end-of-day reconciliation to ensure accurate and timely bookings, and providing technical guidance and operational support to Processors. Will deal with external/internal affairs, participate in projects, investigate and resolve complex customer enquiries, support process reviews and improvements, and handle regulatory reporting (PBOC/SAFE/NFRA). Requires strong English and Mandarin skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and effective communication at all levels. Shanghai office-based role in Corporate & Investment Banking Trade Operations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of Trade Finance experience at a foreign bank
- Solid understanding of PBOC/SAFE/NFRA regulation
- Deep knowledge of UCP Rules, international trade and OFAC regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Good customer contact techniques
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
- Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
