Job Summary

Conduct research to support program development, strategic planning, or stakeholder engagement. Assist in developing fundraising strategies, managing nonprofit budgets, and tracking grants. Support creation of advocacy materials, policy briefs, and digital communication efforts including social media and newsletters. Collaborate with staff across departments on projects amplifying marginalized community voices while participating in cross-functional meetings. Complete required trainings in mandated reporting, HIPAA, and trauma-informed practices within a supervised environment. No compensation provided; interns must pass fingerprinting background check.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Administration, Non-Profit Management, Public Policy, Business Administration, Finance or Accounting, Marketing or Communications, Political Science or a closely related program.
  • Currently pursuing credit through and academic or other formalized educational program.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Basic organizational and time management skills.
  • Works well independently.
  • Interns must pass fingerprinting background check.
