Job Summary
Inspect and test fire protection systems to ensure functionality, including fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, portable fire extinguishers, backflow preventers, and fixed extinguishing systems. Provide continual company presence & support, schedule and coordinate inspections, document inspections for records and authorities, ensure timely electronic inspection reports, communicate discrepancies and necessary repairs, market additional services, provide on-call availability for emergencies, train Technician Trainees, progress NICET certifications, support other departments, and maintain safety and quality commitments; requires 5+ years in fire protection with NICET Level II (Level III preferred), licensing within 60 days, valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in the fire protection trade, with a minimum Level II NICET certification in Inspection Testing & Maintenance of Water-Based Systems (Level III preferred)
- Licensing or the ability to be licensed within 60 days for fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, portable fire extinguishers, backflow preventers, and fixed extinguishing systems.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel extensively.
