Corporate Inspection Technician

Job Summary
Inspect and test fire protection systems (fire sprinkler, fire alarm, portable extinguishers, backflow preventers, fixed extinguishing systems); coordinate inspections with local Eagle Fire managers and customers; provide documentation of inspections for company records, customer records, authorities having jurisdiction, and required entities; ensure timely completion of electronic inspection reports utilizing Profit Zoom; communicate discrepancies and necessary repairs to customers; market additional company services to existing and potential customers; provide on-call availability for customer emergencies and support for special projects; train Technician Trainees as assigned; progress NICET certifications applicable to the job; support other departments; maintain accuracy and timeliness in all tasks; uphold company commitments, including overtime as needed; maintain safety and compliance with codes, standards, and manufacturer instructions; adapt to varied environments and travel as required.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in the fire protection trade
- minimum Level II NICET certification in Inspection Testing & Maintenance of Water-Based Systems (Level III preferred)
- Licensing or ability to be licensed within 60 days for fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, portable fire extinguishers, backflow preventers, and fixed extinguishing systems
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel extensively
