Job Summary
Corporate Healthcare Attorney sought to advise RXNT on healthcare regulations, privacy, and compliance, and to support corporate transactions, product development, and governance. Responsibilities include advising on HIPAA/HITECH and state privacy laws, developing and maintaining compliance policies, responding to audits and regulatory reviews, leading governance frameworks, drafting and negotiating SaaS subscriptions and various agreements (MSA, BAAs, data-use, vendor, NDAs, etc.), guiding privacy and data security efforts, supporting product/engineering with regulatory implications for healthcare software and AI, assisting with marketing materials and product documentation reviews, and supporting M&A due diligence and corporate governance. Ideal candidate has 3–5 years of healthcare law experience, strong communication, and ability to balance legal risk with business objectives; preferred familiarity with healthcare tech, privacy and cybersecurity matters, and AI regulatory considerations.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 3–5 years of experience in a law firm, in-house legal department, or combination thereof
- Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and compliance frameworks
