Job Summary
Monitor and prevent chemical, physical, and biological hazards by surveying, compiling, and analyzing data on occupational health issues such as exposure to solvents, dusts, vapors, and noise. Perform field and safety measurements, evaluate hazardous materials, and implement control measures for exposure risks. Direct workers verifying compliance with health regulations, provide technical guidance on protective equipment, and facilitate training on safety issues. Maintain monitoring instrumentation, track worker injuries, and ensure company standards align with applicable laws. Requires 15+ years of experience, OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification, and ability to travel for field work.

- Health & Safety professional with a strong background in environmental consulting
- Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university
- 15+ years experience and training
- Competent in Microsoft Office
- Competent in Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to work with computerized database searches
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER (required)
- Asbestos/Lead/Mold Certifications
- CPR certification
- Valid driver's license
- Physical ability to work in the field under all weather conditions
- Physical ability to climb ladders
- Physical ability to walk on a variety of terrain
- Ability to travel for field work when necessary
