Corporate Generalist Attorney - Assistant Vice President / Vice President

Job Summary
Draft and review complex technology-driven client engagement agreements, standard form documentation, and general corporate contracts covering human resources, finance, marketing, real estate, and alternative investments. Lead AI governance initiatives by monitoring global rules, partnering with engineering teams to test generative tools, build legal prompt frameworks, and evaluate system outputs for bias and security vulnerabilities. Supervise outside counsel and assist with legal aspects of strategic corporate development initiatives while performing ad hoc research projects. Work closely with Sales, Partnerships, Technology, Product, and Regulatory Compliance teams to assess nuanced risks and provide actionable advice. This role reports to the Head of Legal for Data, Technology and IP. Employees work in the office Monday-Thursday with remote flexibility on Fridays.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience within a top-tier law firm and/or in-house at a technology or financial services firm, or within a related industry
- Member in good standing of New York Bar or another state or jurisdiction
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Willingness to learn new topics and work in an evolving business environment
- High level of integrity
- Organized and detailed oriented with big picture capability
- Practical understanding of machine learning architecture, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and tech platforms
- Work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday
