Job Summary
Build the data foundation for the CFO Financial Review Pack monthly, including actuals vs. budget tables, cost centre breakdowns, and headcount summaries. Own end-to-end financial review packs for a defined portfolio of departments, writing preliminary commentary on key movements and attending monthly meetings with department heads. Produce monthly payroll and non-payroll cost analyses, maintaining the Cost Centre Budget Tracker with locked actuals and flagging material variances. Maintain the Product and Segment P&L quarterly and prepare data inputs for investor and lender compliance reports. Lead the data collection phase of the Annual Operating Plan, distributing budget templates and consolidating returns. Partner with the Finance Tech team to automate repetitive data tasks and keep close procedures documented.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years in FP&A, financial analysis, or management accounting
- Experience producing monthly management accounts or reporting packs
- Highly proficient in Google Sheets / Excel — can build and maintain complex models
- Strong data accuracy instinct — notices when numbers don't add up before anyone else does
- Structured and organised — comfortable running multiple deliverables to tight deadlines
- Clear written communication — can write a two-sentence variance commentary that actually explains the so-what
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with an ERP system (NetSuite strongly preferred)
- Prior experience in a technology, SaaS, or high-growth company a plus
- General knowledge and/or desire to learn data science and AI capabilities and their application to finance work
- SQL knowledge strongly preferred
